X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Summary: 
Wolverine lives a mutant life, seeks revenge against Victor Creed (who will later become Sabertooth) for the death of his girlfriend, and ultimately ends up going through the mutant Weapon X program.
Story Line: 
It was awesome, it was intriguing and solid through out wasn't any holes and it explained everything that the first few movies didn't it was very well written.
Effects: 
From what i saw it was amazing! Flawless something are a little exaggerated but all in all it was swell.
Violence: 
There is alot of violance but not much blood a very creepy stuff here and there but its not to bad at all.
Sex/Nudity: 
A man is seen bare-chested several times and fully nude from behind in several scenes.
Drugs: 
He drinks, he smokes, but don't think he does drugs.
Language: 
It's a wolverine movie. He doesn't say nice things. But in the D
Personal Thoughts: 
I thought this movie was a really nice Comic Film, it really did X-Men justice best of the whole series. It explained the message it set out to and had some twists that kept you wanting to keep watching.
Overall: 
9! Flawless.

Queen of the Damned (02)

Summary: 
After many years of sleeping in his coffin, the vampire Lestat awakens only to find that the world has changed and he wants to be a part of it. He gathers a following and becomes a rock star only to find that his music awakens the ancient Queen Akasha and she wants him to become her king...
Story Line: 
Great Story Line in my opinion, shows no one wants to be alone and everyone needs a soul mate.
Effects: 
Not to many effects but the ones in their were quite nice no real big “Ooohs and Aaaahs” but it gets the job done and looks pretty good.
Violence: 
A chick rips a heart out of a guy and sucks it dry, through out the movie there is Neck Biting and killing.
Sex/Nudity: 
No nudity, but definiate sexual scenes and references, for instance, guy and girl vamp in hot tub. And then in bed, skimpy clothing at times. But nothing showing.
Drugs: 
Just drinking in bars and night clubs.
Language: 
There was some mild language, and F-Bombs in the song lyrics.
Personal Thoughts: 
A movie you should add to your DVD Collection for all Vamp. Lovers alike. A lot of movies take from this one so don't think this one took from them, its the other way around this movie was made in '02. Its both a love story and a killing story, and how and what a vampire is and lives their life. Its all you need to know in 1 film. =)
Overall: 
8, i thought it was amazing it was everything you could want in one movie, Romance, Passion, Suspense, Violence, Gore, Music, Vampires!

V for Vendetta

Summary: 
A shadowy freedom fighter known only as "V" uses terrorist tactics to fight against his totalitarian society. Upon rescuing a girl from the secret police, he also finds his best chance at having an ally.
Story Line: 
Very good i thought it was original and real, and at points you could see truth in our society today. I was very impressed.
Effects: 
AWESOME! If you liked how the Matrix and 300 we're shot then you'll love the effects of this film. Same tech.'s were used.
Violence: 
A man is hanged at the beginning of the movie, and graphically shown as he dies A scene where a woman is about to be beaten and raped, but then the attackers are stopped, the two men then get beaten with punches, kicks and throws while he's holding a knife. Several fights that result in people being slashed or impaled by knives, blood is shown in low quantities. A man injected poison into a woman, we see her dead. In a flashback a man is burning alive, but somehow survives A man is shot in the chest repeatedly, gets up, blood is somewhat visible, then proceeds to eliminate the gunmen by throwing razor-blade knives at them with blood spurting with every slash (however no dismemberment) In one scene, a pile of dead beaten naked bodies is shown graphically Several times characters are shot graphically in the upper body and head point-blank execution style, including a young girl is shot several times, and later shown dead, face down lying in a pool of her blood. A woman is forced into a chair and forcibly held down, and someone shaves her head, she's tortured with steam and water drowning. A man is brutally beaten with a baseball-bat-type weapon, then his bloody face is shown. then they shove his head in a suffocation bag. Several scenes of milder violence.
Sex/Nudity: 
There are a few brief shots of showgirls who are wearing thongs, parts of the buttocks are shown. A group of men attack a woman, and its implied that they plan to rape her. Two women share a passionate kiss, shortly thereafter two men are shown, asleep, lying next to each other in bed, nothing sexual is happening, however it's implied that they're same-sex partners. A woman looks at pictures hanging on the wall that show homosexual sexual acts, we see a close ups of a man's buttocks with a hand covering it, close ups of what appears to be sexual acts between men (they are shown very briefly, and you don't get to really see them as they are off in the background). A Bishop is a pedophile who loves to "play games" with children, in a scene he's forcing himself on top of a woman, but he's interrupted. A ditch full of naked dead bodies, mostly blurred nudity, we see two people throw a corpse; we see it's buttocks from a distance.
Drugs: 
A man injects others with a poison to kill them. (off screen) The two detectives smoke cigarettes. A man is shown opening a cabinet door and there are tons of legal and non-legal drugs in his cabinet. A woman has a drink or two with a male friend. A man is shown smoking a pipe. A man is shown smoking a cigar.
Language: 
There is good bit of "dirty wordies" ie: "BS", "B-Word", F-Bomb, Whore, MoFo
Personal Thoughts: 
I really thought the movie was excellent and it talked a lot about how a communist country is and how powerful the government can be and is in some countries and i thought it was mind blowing.
Overall: 
10, i thought the movie was excellent its going right up their with Stay Alive!

Stay Alive

Summary: 
For a group of teens, the answer to the mysterious death of their old friend lies within the world of an online video game based on the true story of an ancient noblewoman known as the Blood Countess.
Story Line: 
A game is made of an old horror tale, and if you die in the game you die parallel in the real world.
Effects: 
All the effects in the movie are great, alot of blood. The game and the movie and how they did the coding for it was amazing.
Violence: 
There is a lot of violence in this film. A woman has her throat slit. A man is ran over by a carrige. A man has his throat slit. There are a couple more scenes of violence and gore.
Sex/Nudity: 
In the first part of movie a guy is playing a game. He then goes to the top of the stairs and opens a door to find two people having sex. The man is on top of the woman thrusting.
Drugs: 
It shows a guy smoking a bong, and the rest is drinking here and there, and a little bit of referring to drug usage, like he had Acid at summer camp.. stuff like that; not too bad.
Language: 
In the version I have “Directors Cut” a ton! But in the original theater version i'd say They talk about boners and eating beaver. Talks of a virgin game. Says Jesus Christ. A man says he wants to skip the fore play and he wants to F**k talking about the game. There is a lot of the F**K words. Says pops your cheri. Talks about wanting some Butt. Lots of "G-d D's".
Personal Thoughts: 
I love this movie from the first time I watched it I loved it. It has a gamer theme to it, and I enjoy it because of that its the only movie to take a horror video game and bring in to the real world like it did. The story line with it being based upon a real life person and events, the video game world meets the film world. Was great! A MUST HAVE in any DVD Collection.
Overall: 
10, It was amazing and in my top 5 all time favorites couldn't find 1 thing wrong with it.
